Sometimes a story begins very simply—with a friend’s phone call: Tanja, organize a bachelorette weekend for us.
My smile was immediate, because I already knew it had to be something beautiful, relaxed, and effortless—something where nothing feels missing.
The wish was clear: a villa with a pool, a touch of wellness, something lovely to do, and not too far away. Since it was April, it was important that the pool was heated, that there were saunas, plenty of peace and quiet, a bit of a retreat feeling, and the option of a massage.
It quickly became clear that Krk was the perfect choice—close enough, less than a two-hour drive, ideal for a weekend getaway, without feeling like half the time would be spent on the road.
We found a villa with exactly the right character: authentic, beautiful, and relaxed, with a heated pool and enough space to truly enjoy the weekend. A special bonus was that the owner also had his own traditional tavern in town, which made it easy to connect everything into one seamless experience.
When we arrived, snacks and an aperitif were already waiting, everything prepared so that the weekend could begin effortlessly.
After that, it was the perfect combination—wine and olive oil tasting, a visit to a winery, dinner at the tavern, and then simply following the mood.
A little structure, and a lot of freedom.
That’s what I love most about weekends like this: everything is prepared, yet there is still plenty of space for things to unfold naturally.
In the end, it wasn’t just a bachelorette celebration.
It was a weekend truly meant to be enjoyed.
